Spirax Sarco is a world leader in steam technology and offers solutions for steam traps, pressure control and energy efficiency. As an Armaturenfabrik, we integrate Spirax Sarco products into complete systems – including modification, automation and documentation. This results in solutions that make your processes safer and more economical.

The air vent AE 50S is approved up to 427 °C at 23.6 bar and can be used from -40 °C.
The BPC 32 thermostatic steam trap in PN 40 is tested at a strength test pressure of 75 bar.
Body in forged steel C 22.8, stainless steel or bronze; body gasket in stainless-steel-reinforced graphite.
All series operate automatically – float-controlled, thermostatic or spring-loaded.
We trade in Spirax Sarco valves and supply directly from the manufacturer range. The series below are a selection, not a limit: we can source the complete Spirax Sarco range, including series not listed here. Enquire with the type designation, nominal size and operating data, and we will check availability and delivery time.
The design depends on the condensate quantity and the load behaviour. A ball float steam trap discharges continuously and independently of pressure and temperature – the choice for large and fluctuating quantities. A balanced pressure thermostatic steam trap is compact and robust and suits trace heating and branch lines.
| Series | Design | Nominal size | Pressure | Features |
| FT47 | ball float | DN 15, 20, 25, 40 and 50 | flanges EN 1092, PN 40 | face-to-face lengths to EN 26554 series 1, ASME B 16.5 Class 150 on request; as FT47V for vertical flow direction; works certificate to EN 10204-2.2 available; flow direction DN 15 to 25 left to right, DN 40 and 50 right to left |
| BPC 32 | balanced pressure thermostatic | Rp ½” to Rp 1″ or DN 15 to 25 | PN 40 | body and flanges in forged steel C 22.8 (P250G), design pressure 40 bar at 50 °C, test pressure 75 bar, body gasket in stainless-steel-reinforced graphite; female thread to DIN EN 10226-1 or flange to DIN EN 1092-1 |
Both designs are float-controlled and work without auxiliary power. The difference lies in the closure: soft-seated closes particularly reliably under moderate conditions, metal-seated withstands high pressure and high temperature.
| Series | Connection | Material | Limit values |
| AE 30 / AE 36 soft-seated | inlet Rp ½”, outlet R ¼” | copper alloy or stainless steel, PN 10 | differential pressure up to 8 bar, up to 110 °C. The AE 36 is fitted with a check valve and only releases air – it does not admit air |
| AE 50S metal-seated | inlet Rp ¾”, outlet Rp ½” | stainless steel, ANSI 300 | up to 41.4 bar at 30 °C and up to 427 °C at 23.6 bar, from −40 °C; maximum differential pressure 30 bar; maintenance-free |
The DCV is a wafer-type disc check valve for installation between flanges, with a bronze body, PN 16, DN 15 to DN 100. The universal centring cast onto the body allows installation between DIN and EN flanges from PN 6 to PN 16. Permissible are 16 bar at 120 °C and 260 °C at 7 bar; it is used for vapours, gases and liquids.
As a rule we supply Spirax Sarco products unchanged from the manufacturer range. Where the project requires it, the following can be added for Spirax Sarco:
Yes – material and connection variants are possible, for example a flange instead of a female thread.
For steam and condensate systems, hot water plant and process lines.
Yes, on request as an assembly with strainer and shut-off valve – the standard case is supply of the series version.
After the technical clarification comes the quotation with type designation, materials and delivery time. For Spirax Sarco we clarify connection dimensions and approvals before ordering.
Because of the high reliability, quality and specialisation in steam and condensate technology – from the valve through to the air vent – and our experience as a partner.
