Product information

The DCV series plate check valves from Spirax Sarco are designed for installation between flanges and provide reliable backflow prevention in steam, water, oil and gas lines. With their robust construction and optional soft-seated versions they are ideal for demanding applications in energy and process technology.

Special features

  • Wafer version with a universal centring collar
  • Compact face-to-face length to EN 558-1, series 49
  • Druckstufen: PN16 (DCV1), PN40 (DCV3)
  • Temperature range: up to 400°C (metal-seated)
  • Materials: Bronze or Edelstahl
  • Spring-loaded for a reliable closing function
  • Optional: soft-seated (Viton for oil/gas, EPDM for water)

Selection and installation

The cast-on universal centring ring saves a component and makes installation between the flanges easier. With a spring any installation position is possible; without a spring only vertical with upward flow.
