Level indicators are indispensable components for level control in containers and process plants. They ensure process reliability, prevent overfilling and enable precise monitoring – whether in chemical, energy, food or water technology. Our selection includes bypass level indicators, sight glass indicators and glass tube indicators in various designs for standard and high-pressure applications.

Level indicators are indispensable components in tank construction and process technology, as they enable continuous and reliable level control. They are used in storage tanks, pressure vessels, reactors and mixing vessels and ensure process safety by preventing overfilling or dry running.
Thanks to their robust design and the possibility of customization – for example with special connections, heating jackets or ATEX-compliant versions – our level indicators can be perfectly integrated into your system. They are suitable for aggressive media, high temperatures and pressures and can also be used in hygienic applications such as the food and pharmaceutical industries.
We not only offer standard solutions, but also customized versions that are precisely tailored to your requirements. This gives you a product that combines functionality, safety and durability – ideal for use in chemical, energy, water and food technology.
What all the level indicators shown here have in common is that they display the level without auxiliary power – so they keep working during a power failure. The designs differ in how the level is made visible.
Sight glass level indicators show the medium directly. The type LGG uses reflex, transparent or refraction glasses in borosilicate glass to DIN 7081: reflex glass for distinguishing liquid from gas, transparent glass for coloured media and interfaces, refraction glass for reading from a greater distance. The operating pressure ranges from vacuum to 250 bar, the operating temperature from −196 °C to +374 °C. For steam the glasses are approved up to 243 °C, with a mica shield up to 300 °C; with other media up to 300 °C is possible, in special cases up to 374 °C.
Bypass level indicators separate the display from the medium. The type BNA carries the medium in a bypass tube; a float transfers the level magnetically to a shatterproof magnetic indicator on the outside – continuously and in proportion to height. Because no glass sits in the pressurised space, this design is suitable for extreme process conditions: operating pressure from vacuum to 400 bar, operating temperature from −196 °C to +450 °C. The bypass chamber and float are made from CrNi steel 1.4571, 1.4404 or special materials.
Glass tube indicators are the simple solution for unpressurised and low-pressure vessels: glass tube indicators, valve-type liquid level indicators and intermediate brackets, available in DN 15, DN 20 and DN 25 with a threaded connection G ½”, ¾” and 1″ or with a flange, in brass or stainless steel 1.4571. Used in vessel construction and in the chemical, energy and food industries.
Selection guide: a direct view of the medium and low to medium pressure argue for the sight glass indicator; aggressive media, high pressures or long viewing distances for the bypass indicator.
