Three measuring principles

Bourdon tube for pressure, diaphragm element for difficult media, capsule element for low pressures.

Bis 1.000 bar

The pressure transmitter A-10 covers up to 1,000 bar, accuracy from 0.25 %.

Genauigkeit ab 0,1 %

The electronic pressure switch PSD-4 achieves 0.1 % in ranges up to 400 bar.

Case filling against vibration

The type 213.53 with filling, protection classes IP65 and IP66 – for installation locations subject to vibration.

Flush diaphragm

The S-11 measures viscous media and media carrying solids without dead space.

Up to +450 °C on the BNA

The BNA bypass level indicator works from vacuum to 400 bar and −196 to +450 °C.

Pressure gauges: the measuring element decides

Before the nominal size and the material comes another question: which measuring element. WIKA covers all three mechanical principles, and each has its own pressure range.

Rule of thumb: Bourdon tube for pressure, diaphragm element for difficult media, capsule element for low pressures. Anyone using a Bourdon tube at low pressure measures imprecisely; anyone choosing a diaphragm element at high pressure overloads it.

Level indication

From the WIKA range we also supply the bypass level indicator BNA for operating pressures from vacuum to 400 bar and temperatures from −196 °C to +450 °C, and the sight glass level indicator LGG with glasses to DIN 7081, up to 250 bar and +374 °C.

Optional: adaptations to WIKA instruments

With WIKA we mostly supply the series version without intervention. Additionally feasible with WIKA:

  • measuring principle chosen by pressure range and medium rather than by catalogue order
  • case filling for installation locations subject to vibration
  • accessories from the pressure gauge range: gauge cocks, pressure snubbers, siphons
  • assembly into measuring units with shut-off valve and documentation
