The FT47 is a robust ball float steam trap in ductile iron for the reliable discharge of large condensate quantities in steam and condensate systems. It is suitable for horizontal and vertical installation positions and offers integrated automatic air venting for maximum operational reliability.
The pressure rating must match the actual differential pressure: a rating chosen too high will not open cleanly at low pressure. Five ratings from 4.5 to 32 bar are available; the vertical version is called FT47V.
