The MK45 is a thermostatic steam trap with a corrosion-resistant control diaphragm for the reliable discharge of condensate from steam systems. It is suitable for saturated steam, superheated steam and superheat lines and offers a compact, robust solution for industrial use.
The control version determines how far the condensate is subcooled before the trap opens: 10 K in the standard, 30 K with subcooling, 5 K at high temperature. Excessive subcooling backs condensate up in the line.
