GÖTZE specializes in safety valves and shut-off valves for pressure systems in demanding applications. As an Armaturenfabrik, we combine the quality of GÖTZE with our engineering expertise: we not only supply standard products, but also configure complete systems – including modification, automation and documentation.
For overpressure protection in liquid, gas and vapor systems.
For safe shut-off in high-pressure and high-temperature circuits.
For aggressive media, ATEX areas and special standards.
Position indicators, limit switches and control components.
Adaptation and integration into existing systems – including heating jackets and special connections.
Hygienic safety valves for CIP/SIP processes.
Safety valves for aggressive media and hazardous zones.
Valves for steam systems, turbine circuits and high-pressure lines.
Components for pressure control and overpressure protection.
Type 618 in angle or straight-through pattern, DN 10 to DN 50.
All three series in gunmetal with threaded connections.
Air release and vacuum valves in DN 15, -30 °C to +120 °C, female thread G 1/2″.
Overflow and control valve in DN 10 to 50, angle or straight-through pattern.
Pressure reducing valve with an integrated strainer – a separate filter is not required.
Constant space requirement across the valve, important in chambers and manifolds.
Specified separately on the type 681: cold up to 40 °C, hot up to 85 °C.
We trade in Goetze valves and supply from the manufacturer range. The three series described below are the ones we supply most often – we can source the complete Goetze range, including safety valves and series not listed here.
The three series share the same construction: gunmetal body with threaded connections, suitable for neutral and non-neutral liquids, for air, gases and technical vapours as well as for steam. They differ in function.
| Series | Function | Nominal size | Limit values |
| Type 620 | air release and vent valve, float-controlled and soft-seated | DN 15, female thread G 1/2″ to DIN EN ISO 228 | up to 6 bar, −30 °C to +120 °C; variant 620d with a separate G 1″ air release connection |
| Type 618 | overflow and control valve, in angle or straight pattern | DN 10 to DN 50 | setpoint ranges up to 20 bar, versions up to 225 °C |
| Type 681 | pressure reducing valve with diaphragm control, non-rising stem and an integrated strainer | DN 15 to DN 50 | inlet pressure up to 25 and 40 bar respectively; drinking water cold up to 40 °C, hot up to 85 °C |
Two design details save components and space: the integrated strainer makes a separate filter upstream of the valve unnecessary, and the non-rising stem keeps the space required above the valve constant – important in confined chambers and manifolds. For drinking water, cold and hot applications are specified separately.
Our standard is the unchanged series version from the Goetze range. In addition we can offer for Goetze products:
Yes – set point range, design and connection can be selected; further connections on request.
For chemical, energy, food and industrial plants.
Yes, we supply ready-to-install units including safety valve, accessories and documentation.
After the technical clarification comes the quotation with type designation, materials and delivery time. For GÖTZE Armaturen we clarify connection dimensions and approvals before ordering.
Because of the high reliability, quality and specialization in safety fittings – and our experience as a partner.
