The Götze overflow and control valve type 618 is a compact valve in gunmetal in angle or straight-through pattern with threaded connections. It protects pumps against overload and controls the pressure in closed circuits. Suitable for neutral and non-neutral liquids, gases, technical vapours and – depending on the seal – also for steam.
The valve is not back-pressure compensated – a fluctuating back pressure therefore shifts the response point. The temperature range up to +225 °C applies with a PTFE seal; with steam the seal type is decisive.
