The practical advantage with DVC is that actuator, solenoid valve and limit switch are matched to one another: NAMUR interface on the actuator, VDI/VDE 3845 for the accessories, ISO 5211 to the valve. There is no adapter question.

The limit switch 5320 achieves IP68 – making it suitable for temporary flooding. In pump chambers, outdoor installations and water treatment, that is exactly the point at which standard components fail.
