TLV is known worldwide for innovative solutions in steam technology and steam traps. As a valve manufacturer, we integrate TLV products into complete systems – including modification, automation and documentation. This results in solutions that make your processes safer, more energy-efficient and more economical.

Mechanical pump with a built-in trap – delivery without electrical energy.
TLV products are not listed in our catalogue but can be sourced through the manufacturer range.
TLV specialises in steam and condensate technology. We currently list no TLV products in our catalogue – but we can source the range in full. Enquire with the type designation and operating data, and we will check availability and delivery time.
TLV steam traps work on the free-float principle: a freely moving ball seals the outlet and lifts as soon as condensate is present. The advantage lies in the behaviour at low condensate loads – where other designs begin to blow through, the closure stays tight. Discharge is continuous rather than in surges.
| Group | Designs and features |
| Steam traps | free-float traps for process and main lines, including the SS series; versions with an integrated bypass valve |
| PowerTrap | mechanical pump with a built-in steam trap – moves condensate without electrical energy |
| Condensate recovery pumps | series CP-N and CP-S for returning high-temperature condensate to the boiler and condensate tank |
| Pressure reducing valves | COSPECT with a cyclone separator and an integrated free-float trap – reduces the pressure and delivers almost dry steam in a single unit; also available as a small pressure regulator with an integrated dryer |
| Cyclone separators | separators with an integrated steam trap for steam drying |
| System packages | prefabricated assemblies for steam, condensate and compressed air systems |
What is notable about TLV’s approach is the integration of several functions into one unit: the COSPECT combines pressure reduction, separation and condensate removal. That saves face-to-face length and interfaces – but the sizing has to be right, because the functions cannot be readjusted individually.
For replacement purchases the type designation from the nameplate is enough for us. Alternatively we will check whether a series from our listed range – from Gestra, Spirax Sarco or Mankenberg, for example – also covers the application. We make that comparison independently of manufacturer.
Yes, we offer modifications such as special materials, automation and special connections.
For energy, food, chemical and industrial plants.
Yes – TLV offers prefabricated system packages for steam, condensate and compressed air systems.
We first review the operating data, materials and connection dimensions, then select the appropriate version from the TLV range. On request we add accessories and documentation.
Because of the high reliability, quality and specialization in steam technology – and our experience as a partner.
