Schubert & Salzer is known for innovative control valves and automation solutions that offer maximum precision and energy efficiency in complex processes. As a valve manufacturer, we integrate these products into complete systems – including modification, automation and documentation. This results in solutions that control your processes safely and economically.
For precise flow, pressure and temperature control.
For safe shut-off in control circuits.
Integrated microprocessor positioner type 8049 on the types 7020 and 7027.
For aggressive media, high pressure, ATEX areas and hygienic applications.
Customization and integration into existing systems – including ISO 5211 interfaces.
Body in stainless steel 1.4408 for DN 8 to DN 80.
Temperature versions from −100 °C to +220 °C.
Straight seat design with high Kvs values and good ease of insulation.
Angle seat design in DN 8 to DN 80, operating pressure up to 40 bar.
Types 7020 and 7027 with an integrated positioner, 7010 and 7017 without.
The angle seat valves 7010 and 7020 cover DN 8 to DN 80, the straight seat valves DN 15 to DN 50.
The pressure rating follows the body material: stainless steel PN 40, gunmetal and brass PN 16.
All four series are available in these temperature versions.
Stainless steel 1.4408, gunmetal CC491K and brass CC754S – depending on the nominal size.
The types 7020 and 7027 have an integrated microprocessor positioner with an i/p converter.
The actuator can be rotated – helpful where there is little space above the line.
We trade in valves from Schubert & Salzer and supply from the manufacturer range. The four series described below are the ones we supply most often – we can source the complete range, including series not listed here.
The type numbers follow a clear system: 7010 and 7020 are angle seat valves, 7017 and 7027 straight seat valves. And the twenty series marks the version with an integrated positioner. Anyone who only needs open and shut takes the basic version; anyone who wants to modulate takes the variant with a positioner.
| Type | Design | Nominal size | Pressure rating | Positioner |
| 7010 | angle seat, pneumatically actuated | DN 8 to DN 80 | PN 16 to PN 40 | no |
| 7020 | angle seat control valve | DN 8 to DN 80 | PN 40 | yes, microprocessor positioner type 8049 with i/p converter |
| 7017 | straight seat, pneumatically actuated | DN 15 to DN 50 | PN 40 | no |
| 7027 | straight seat control valve | DN 15 to DN 50 | PN 40 | yes, integrated |
On the angle seat valve 7010 the body material determines the nominal size and pressure rating: stainless steel 1.4408 in DN 8 to DN 80 with PN 40, gunmetal CC491K in DN 15 to DN 50 with PN 16, brass CC754S in DN 65 and DN 80 with PN 16. The straight seat valves 7017 and 7027 are manufactured in stainless steel 1.4408.
All four series are available in temperature versions from −100 °C to +220 °C and are designed for operating pressures up to 40 bar. The actuators are rotatable – a practical advantage where space above the line is limited. The straight seat design additionally offers higher Kvs values and better ease of insulation.
Our standard is the unchanged series version from the Schubert & Salzer range. In addition we can offer for Schubert & Salzer products:
Yes – design, material and positioner can be selected; further connections available.
For chemical, mechanical engineering, food, energy and industrial plants.
Yes, on request as an assembly with shut-off valve and documentation – angle or straight seat according to the task.
The starting point is your enquiry with medium, pressure and temperature. From this we size the appropriate Schubert & Salzer version and agree the accessories and test scope with you.
Because of the high precision, quality and specialisation in angle and straight seat valves with an integrated positioner – and because of our experience as a partner.
