The flat wedge gate valve Fig. 800 from Fromme Armaturen is a soft-seated shut-off valve for water and wastewater applications. With its rubber-coated EPDM wedge and robust body in ductile iron it offers reliable sealing and a long service life. The version complies with the European standards and is ideal for use in drinking water and cooling circuits.
The EPDM-coated wedge seals softly and needs no metal seating faces – that makes the gate valve suitable for water and wastewater but limits it to moderate temperatures. DIN EN 1074 is the water supply standard.
