The flat wedge gate valve Fig. 052 from Fromme Armaturen is a robust shut-off valve for large nominal sizes and demanding industrial applications. With its resilient wedge and welded sealing faces it offers reliable metal sealing at high temperatures and pressures. The version complies with DIN 3352 and EN 1092 and is ideal for use in energy, chemical and process plants.
The Stellite hard facing of the sealing faces considerably increases the service life with steam and hot media – that is the reason why this series is used in power plants. From DN 400 the pressure rating drops to PN 10.
