The wedge gate valve Fig. 034 from Fromme Armaturen is a compact high-pressure shut-off valve for demanding applications in the energy, chemical and process industries. Manufactured from forged steel P250GH and fitted with a metal-seated wedge, it offers maximum operational reliability at temperatures up to +400°C and pressures up to PN40. The version meets all relevant standards and is TA Luft and ATEX compliant.
Forged steel instead of cast iron is the reason for the compact design at PN 40 – the gate valve fits into confined installation spaces. The metal-seated wedge requires clean seating faces but withstands +400 °C.
