The flat wedge gate valve Fig. 013 from Fromme Armaturen is a proven solution for shutting off pipelines in industrial, water and cooling circuit systems. With its outside stem and metal-seated construction it offers high operational reliability and easy maintenance. The version complies with the European standards and is designed for use in systems with neutral liquids.
DIN EN 1171 is the standard for gate valves in water supply – it specifies the design and tests. Installation is preferably with the stem pointing upwards so that no deposits collect on the stem.
