Y-strainer with large sieve surface and stainless steel sieve
The strainer Fig. 316 from Fromme Armaturen is a robust and proven solution for protecting piping systems and valves against contamination. Thanks to its Y-pattern and the large screen area it offers efficient filtration with minimum pressure loss. The version complies with the European standards and is ideal for use in water, steam and process lines.
The maximum pressure differential in operation must not exceed 1 bar – if it rises above this, the screen is clogged and must be cleaned. A differential pressure gauge upstream and downstream of the filter makes this point visible.
