Two backflow preventers + drain valve
The BA300 is an RPZ valve to DIN EN 1717, developed to protect drinking water systems against backpressure, backflow and backsiphonage. It meets the requirements for liquid category 4 and is designed for use in residential construction, industry and commercial installations. The construction in powder-coated ductile iron and lead-free materials guarantees corrosion resistance, durability and easy maintenance.
The BA300 covers liquid category 4 and is therefore the design for the highest hazard level in a drinking water installation. The drain connection must discharge freely – this must be taken into account when choosing the installation location.

RPZ valves such as the BA300 are essential for safeguarding drinking water systems. They reliably prevent the backpressure, backflow and backsiphonage of contaminated media into the supply network. This is not only a technical necessity, but also a legal requirement in accordance with DIN EN 1717 and DIN 1988-100 in order to ensure hygiene and safety in water installations.
The triple safety architecture – consisting of two backflow preventers and a drain valve – divides the RPZ valve into three pressure zones. This completely eliminates the risk of contamination, even in the event of pressure fluctuations or malfunctions. For operators, this means: maximum operational safety, standard-compliant design and minimized liability risk.
We not only supply backflow preventers as individual components, but also integrate them into modular SKID systems. These preconfigured system solutions combine valves, piping, measurement and control technology into compact, ready-to-install units.
This gives you a solution that combines safety, efficiency and flexibility – ideal for projects with high hygiene and process control requirements.
