Directly controlled proportional controller with diaphragm actuator
The ARI-PREDEX overflow regulator type Fig 705 is a directly controlled proportional regulator without an external power supply for controlling a set inlet pressure. It opens automatically when the inlet pressure exceeds the set point and closes when it falls below.
Thanks to the diaphragm actuator with a rolling diaphragm and stainless steel bellows the regulator works independently of the outlet pressure. It is suitable for group II fluids to the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, such as steam, neutral gases and liquids.
The actuator size and spring determine the set point range from 0.2 to 16 bar and can be exchanged in the field – that makes the series flexible when operating points change. For small flow rates the Kvs value can be reduced.
