The check valve RK86 from GESTRA is the perfect solution for high-pressure and high-temperature applications. With its robust construction in chrome steel and stainless steel, spring-loaded function and compact design it offers maximum safety and reliability in power plant, chemical and process plants.

  • Wafer version to EN 1092, PN10/16/25/40
  • ASME Class 125/150/300 optional
  • Body in chrome steel or stainless steel (RK86A for higher temperatures)
  • Temperature range: -10°C to +400°C (RK86), up to +550°C (RK86A)
  • Pressure rating: PN40 (ASME Class 300 up to 51.1 bar)
  • Sitzdichtung: Metallisch (optional EPDM, FPM, PTFE)
  • Any installation position (horizontal or vertical)
  • With an earthing connection as standard

Selection and installation

The standard M8 earthing connection is decisive in hazardous zones – it prevents electrostatic charging of the wafer valve. Nimonic springs are the more durable choice at high temperatures.
