Parr specializes in high-pressure ball valves for demanding processes in the chemical, energy and research industries. As an Armaturenfabrik, we combine Parr’s quality with our engineering expertise: we not only supply standard products, but also configure complete systems – including modification, automation and documentation.
For extreme operating conditions and safety-critical processes.
For aggressive media and high temperatures.
Pneumatic and electric actuators, limit switches and accessories.
Nominal sizes from DN 8 to DN 50 with female thread interfaces.
Special valves for high-pressure reactors and test rigs.
High-pressure ball valves for aggressive media and hazardous zones.
Valves for steam, hot water and condensate systems.
Solutions for high-pressure and safety applications.
Type 300 in stainless steel 1.4408 for 64 bar.
The type 300 threaded ball valve is designed for 64 bar.
Production for high-pressure and high-temperature
applications.
Connection sizes from 1/4″ to 2″ with a female thread.
Body material of the entire series.
Seat and seals in PTFE, resistant to most process media.
The price of the one-piece design – with frequent switching we recommend a 3-piece alternative.
We trade in PARR ball valves and supply from the manufacturer range. The series described below is the one we supply most often – we can source the complete PARR range, including series not listed here.
The type 300 is a one-piece threaded ball valve in stainless steel 1.4408 with a PTFE seal and a pressure rating of PN 64. The one-piece design has no body joint – so there is no flanged connection within the body that could be prone to leakage.
| Nominal size | Connection size |
| DN 8 | 1/4″ |
| DN 10 | 3/8″ |
| DN 15 | 1/2″ |
| DN 20 | 3/4″ |
| DN 25 | 1″ |
| DN 32, DN 40 and DN 50 | 1 1/4″, 1 1/2″ and 2″ |
The design is a deliberate trade-off. One-piece means maximum tightness to the outside, low weight and a low price – but the seat cannot be replaced. Once the seat is worn, the valve is replaced. For measuring and test lines, for shut-off duties that are rarely operated, and wherever PN 64 is required, that is the economical choice.
Where the valve is switched frequently, however, or where abrasive media attack the seat, a 3-piece ball valve is the better solution – and we supply those from other series in our range.
As a rule we supply the Parr series version. Beyond that the following is possible with Parr – optional, not a precondition:
For chemical, energy, oil & gas, research and industrial plants.
For measuring and test lines as well as shut-off duties with infrequent operation.
Yes, we supply ready-to-install units including ball valve, actuator and documentation.
After the technical clarification comes the quotation with type designation, materials and delivery time. For Parr we clarify connection dimensions and approvals before ordering.
Because of the high reliability, quality and specialization in high-pressure fittings – and our experience as a partner.
