The KSB range at Armaturenfabrik

We trade in KSB valves and supply plant engineering, maintenance and operators directly from the manufacturer range. The overviews below show the series we supply regularly and recommend for the respective application – they are a selection, not a limit. We can source the complete KSB range, including series not listed here. Enquire with the type designation, nominal size and pressure rating, and we will check availability and delivery time.

Butterfly valves: centric or double eccentric

The design determines the pressure rating, temperature range and nominal size. Centric, soft-seated valves are the economical solution up to PN 16 and +200 °C; with these, only the disc and the liner are in contact with the medium. Double eccentric valves go beyond that – higher pressure ratings, larger nominal sizes, lower temperatures and a metal seat as an option.

Recommended flow velocity for the ISORIA: 1.5 to 3 m/s with water.

Globe valves: gland packing or bellows

The stem sealing is the decisive criterion. A gland packing can be serviced and adjusted. A bellows seals the stem hermetically and is the choice with heat transfer oil, with steam and wherever leakage to the outside has to be ruled out – for example under the German TA Luft clean air regulation.

SeriesStem sealingNominal sizePressure rating

In the NORI 40 family the suffix denotes the version: BV marks the bellows, F the version with a flanged connection, and ZXL and ZXS distinguish the body material.

Optional: adaptations to KSB valves

Our standard is the unchanged series version from the KSB range. Where the installation situation requires it, adaptations are possible – as a supplement to the trade, not as a precondition:

  • automation with a pneumatic or electric actuator, limit switch and solenoid valve
  • heating jacket for media that solidify at ambient temperature
  • special materials and different sealing materials according to the medium
  • stem and shaft extensions for insulated lines
  • KSB valve supplied ready for connection with actuator and documentation

FAQs

Can KSB valves be customized?

Yes – special materials, actuators and special connections are possible. The focus is on supply from the KSB range.

For energy, water, chemical, food and industrial plants.

Yes, on request we supply KSB valves as a ready-to-install assembly with actuator and documentation.

We first review the operating data, materials and connection dimensions, then select the appropriate version from the KSB range. On request we add accessories and documentation.
