The GD-6 ring throttle valve is manufactured up to DN 2000 as standard and up to DN 5000 as a special version.
The temperature range of the GD-6 extends from -100 °C to +1100 °C.
100 % final inspection, pressure and leak tests, material certificates.
Available with 99 %, 99.8 % and 99.98 % tightness relative to the fully open disc.
With a mounting kit to DIN ISO 5211 and matching shaft adaptation, any actuator available on the market can be fitted.
O-rings or shaft seals in EPDM, FPM, NBR or PTFE.
We trade in Jasta valves and supply from the manufacturer range. The GD-6 ring throttle valve is the series we supply most often – we can source the complete Jasta range, including series not listed here.
The GD-6 is not a standard butterfly valve but a ring throttle valve with a full cast disc. Its field of use goes far beyond what soft-seated valves can achieve – and it is the reason why we point to Jasta for flue gas, hot air and high-temperature processes.
| Feature | Value |
| Nominal sizes | DN 15 to DN 2000 as standard, as a special version up to DN 5000 |
| Temperature | −100 °C to +1100 °C |
| Materials | can be manufactured from any material available on the market – the choice depends on temperature, medium and pressure |
| Tightness | available in three grades: 99 %, 99.8 % and 99.98 % relative to the fully open disc |
| Actuator | with a mounting kit to DIN ISO 5211 and matching shaft adaptation, any actuator available on the market can be fitted |
| Shaft sealing | O-rings or shaft seals in EPDM, FPM, NBR or PTFE |
The three-grade tightness is a selection criterion that is often overlooked: a throttle valve does not have to close tightly if its job is to modulate. Anyone who needs a shut-off function chooses the higher grade – anyone who throttles saves with the lower one.
Our standard is the unchanged series version from the Jasta range. Because the GD-6 is manufactured to the application, the choice of material is part of the design here:
