The EUROPA intermediate valve needs no face-to-face length of its own – it is fitted between existing connections and is therefore the solution when the line is already in place and there is no room for an additional valve. With DN 10 to DN 100 it covers the larger range of nominal sizes.
The type M1 is the small, spring-loaded version for measuring, control and secondary lines. Being entirely in stainless steel 316, including the disc, makes it resistant to aggressive media – at 16 bar and up to 150 °C.
On sizing: spring-loaded check valves close independently of the installation position and even at low reverse flow. In return they need a somewhat higher opening pressure than gravity-operated designs – with very small flows this needs checking.
