The type 915 dual-plate check valve covers DN 50 to DN 900, equivalent to 2″ to 36″.
Flange connection in PN 10, 16, 25 and 40 as well as ASME Class 150 to Class 600.

The dual plate design is the compact answer to backflow prevention: two spring-loaded plates swing about a central shaft instead of a single disc being lifted. This gives a short face-to-face length in the wafer range and low weight – the decisive advantage at large nominal sizes in particular.

Important for sizing: dual plate check valves need a minimum flow in order to open fully. With strongly fluctuating or very low flow the nominal size therefore needs checking – an oversized valve will flutter.
