Heat protection hose – Silicone-coated glass fabric
The HSS-PY heat protection sleeve is the reliable solution for thermal protection of pipelines, cables and flexible hoses in extreme industrial environments. With its silicone coating it offers excellent insulation values and protection against mechanical loads, chemicals and brief exposure to flame.
Temperature resistance:
Dauerbetrieb: ca. 260 °C
Short-term: up to 1090 °C (15-20 minutes)

The silicone coating protects against liquid metal splashes, welding sparks and brief exposure to flame – hot media bead off and form no encrustation. For selection we need the outside diameter of the line; the wall thickness is about 5 mm.
