Highly efficient plant engineering
In modern plant engineering, it is no longer just the technical solution that determines the success of a project – it is the speed with which engineering becomes reality.
A current project from our company shows what is possible when design, construction, production, automation and insulation are consistently thought through together:
12 weeks from the first CAD sketch to the ready-to-ship pallet.
When SKID concepts are consistently implemented
The project involved the realization of 12 media control units made entirely of stainless steel for use on calender rolls. Such units are typical examples of modular SKID systems, as used in:
- Valve stands and dosing systems
- Pumping stations and pumping systems
- Compressor systems / compressor stations
- Steam packages for high process plants
are used.
Thanks to the modular design, all functional groups could be delivered prefabricated, tested and documented – including clearly defined interfaces for media, electrics and automation.
Key technical data from the project
Engineering & design (in-house)
All media, pressure and temperature requirements were defined in the early project phase and transferred directly to the design.
Material selection: Stainless steel 1.4571
For high corrosion resistance, temperature resistance and long service life – a standard that has also proven itself in our steam packages and high process plants.
Plug-and-play approach
The units were delivered as ready-to-connect modules: tested, labeled and documented – ready for rapid integration at the customer’s premises.
Plant engineering speed does not happen by chance
The short project duration is no coincidence. It is the result of an integrated approach:
- own design & CAD
- Own production & pre-assembly
- Coordinated selection of valves and components
- Early integrated automation
- Practical industrial insulation
This approach pays off, especially in energy-intensive applications – for example in steam systems or high process plants in the rubber and tire industry. Where international manufacturers such as Continental rely on reliable steam packages, time, quality and energy efficiency are decisive factors.
Insulation as part of the system concept
Industrial insulation is an often underestimated factor in the speed of plant construction.
If insulation is only “put on” later, delays, rework and interface problems arise.
In our projects, insulation is therefore already included in the engineering – for example in the case of:
- Steam packets
- Valve stands
- Pipeline and media distributors
- SKID modules for high-temperature processes
This not only keeps the system efficient, but also maintenance-friendly and future-proof.
Conclusion: speed is system competence
12 weeks from CAD to pallet is not a record from an exceptional case – but the result of clear processes, high vertical integration and genuine system expertise.
Plant engineering speed is achieved when nothing is outsourced “anywhere” – but everything works together.
