Butterfly valve KG7 Lug

Standard applications in water, energy and chemical plants

Data sheet

Product information

The GEFA butterfly valve KG7 in lug design is a robust, centric and soft-seated industrial valve for demanding applications in chemical, energy, water technology and HVAC systems. The sturdy ductile iron body, the high-quality stainless steel disc and the replaceable elastomer seat ring ensure high tightness, durability and reliability – even with demanding media, increased temperatures and changing operating conditions. Thanks to its end fitting suitability, the KG7 can be flanged on one side and flexibly automated.

Special features

  • Centric, soft-sealing construction
  • Lug design (end flap) – can be flanged on one side
  • Robust ductile iron body EN-GJS-400-18
  • Stainless steel washer 1.4408
  • Replaceable seat ring made of EPDM (other materials possible)
  • Vacuum-tight and suitable for demanding industrial media
  • Optional ATEX version
  • Very easy to automate (pneumatic / electric)

Advantages

  • High operational reliability thanks to solid construction
  • Low maintenance and easy to overhaul
  • High media resistance – suitable for water, air, steam, oils and numerous process media
  • Ideal for use as an end fitting (lug type)
  • Low pressure loss thanks to centric flap geometry
  • Quick seat change thanks to two-part body
  • Prepared for ISO 5211 actuators
