Float valves are central components for the automatic control of liquid levels in open and closed (unpressurized) containers. They operate purely mechanically via lever-float designs and enable reliable, energy-independent level control.
Our selection includes brass and stainless steel valves for water technology, municipal supply, industrial process tanks, cooling water systems, rainwater harvesting and a wide range of media.
With temperature ranges up to 300 °C and pressure ratings up to PN16, these valves cover a wide range of applications for engineers, plant manufacturers and industrial buyers.

From simple water containers to high-temperature applications up to 300 °C
Brass/red brass for standard applications, stainless steel 316L for demanding media
without external energy
for large tank volumes (VR170 up to 21 m³/h)
Float valves are essential components in tank construction and in the process industry, as they enable automatic, mechanically precise and permanently reliable control of liquid levels. They take over the automatic filling or emptying of containers and reservoirs and ensure that defined fill levels are maintained and overfilling or dry runs are safely avoided.
Whether in storage tanks, storage containers, water systems or in industrial processes – float valves ensure stable operation without additional energy supply.
Thanks to their robust design and the option of choosing different materials and float designs – for example plastic or stainless steel versions – our float valves can be ideally adapted to the specific requirements of your system. They are suitable for neutral and slightly aggressive media and, depending on the variant, can also be used at elevated temperatures and pressures.
They therefore meet the requirements of a wide range of industrial applications, for example in municipal water supply, the food industry or general plant engineering.
In addition to our standard designs, we also offer customized solutions, including special connections, alternative sealing materials or special float designs for increased operational safety. This gives you a product that combines functionality, durability and precision – ideal for use in water, energy and process systems as well as in customized tank concepts.
VR170/ZN170/Z171T are suitable for water and neutral liquids;
NV94 for non-abrasive liquids, including corrosive media thanks to 316L stainless steel.
VR170: up to 90 °C with stainless steel float
NV94: soft-sealing up to 130 °C, metal-sealing up to 300 °C
VR170: 6 bar (8 bar depending on float)
NV94: PN16, operating pressure 0-8 bar
The float transfers level changes directly to the valve cone via a lever – purely mechanically and immediately responsive.
