Pressure reducing valve type 41-23

The SAMSON universal pressure reducing valve type 41-23 is a self-acting pressure regulator without an external power supply. It consists of the type 2412 valve and the type 2413 actuator. The regulator keeps the pressure downstream of the valve constant at the set point – independently of fluctuations in the inlet pressure.
It is suitable for liquid, gaseous and vaporous media in process and industrial plants.

Selection and installation

The set point range determines the actuator: up to 16 bar the type 2413 diaphragm actuator, above that the bellows actuator up to 28 bar. From a medium temperature of 150 °C an expansion vessel must be provided; the insulation must leave the actuator free.
