Product information

Our magnetic filters combine the proven technology of basket strainers with additional magnetic separation for metallic particles. This solution is ideal for applications where ferromagnetic contaminants need to be reliably removed in addition to mechanical filtration.

  • Welded version for DN50-DN1000
  • Nominal pressures: PN6 to PN40
  • Housing material: Stainless steel 1.4571 (pickled, passivated)
  • Strainer basket made of stainless steel 1.4301 with square perforations Qg 10-12
  • Fine sieve made of stainless steel 1.4401, standard mesh size 1 mm
  • Magnetic rod separator: Integrated permanent magnets (neodymium) with high field strength (up to 1.2 Tesla / 12,000 Gauss) for the separation of iron particles and chips
  • Gasket: graphite spit plate
  • Temperature range: -10°C to +400°C (-200 °C to 450 °C on request)
  • Ventilation sleeve in the cover, drainage sleeve in the housing base
  • Design in accordance with Pressure Equipment Directive DGR 2014/68/EU
  • Optional: heating jacket, differential pressure indicator, quick-release fastener,
  • Special materials (Monel, Hastelloy, Duplex)
  • Filter performance: Mechanical filtration + magnetic separation
  • Mesh sizes: 0.05 mm to 10 mm (optional fine sieves)

Which particles can magnetic filters remove?

Magnetic filters remove ferromagnetic particles such as iron, steel chips and magnetite in addition to the mechanical filtration of solids.

Yes, the bodies and strainer inserts are made of stainless steel (1.4301 / 1.4571), making them suitable for aggressive liquids and gases.

Standard version: PN6-PN40, temperature range -10°C to +50°C. Special versions for higher temperatures are available on request.

Yes, we offer heating jackets, leakage jackets, differential pressure indicators, quick-release fasteners, feet and customized connections.

The magnetic rods are easy to remove and can be cleaned manually. Optional quick-release lids are available for fast maintenance.
