Data sheet

Product information

The model 212.20 Bourdon tube pressure gauge is designed for industrial applications where high accuracy and robust construction are required. With a stainless steel body and an accuracy class of 1.0, this manometer is suitable for use in mechanical and plant engineering, building services engineering and refrigeration technology. The design complies with the EN 837-1 and ASME B40.100 standards.

Special features

  • Bourdon tube pressure gauge to EN 837-1 or ASME B40.100
  • Nominal sizes: 100 mm and 160 mm
  • Display ranges: 0 to 0.6 / 0 to 1,000 bar (incl. vacuum and ± ranges)
  • Accuracy class: EN 837-1 class 1.0
  • Body: Stainless steel with relief opening (safety function)
  • Protection class: IP54
  • Process connections: G ¼, G ⅜, G ½, M20 x 1.5, NPT according to EN 837-1, ISO 7, ANSI/B1.20.1
  • Wetted parts:
    < 100 bar: Copper alloy
    ≥ 100 bar: Stainless steel 1.4404 (316L)

Advantages

  • High mechanical strength for dynamic loads
  • Safety relief opening for increased protection
  • Large scales for good readability even from a distance
  • Variants for oil and grease-free applications (e.g. oxygen)

Variants

  • Connection position: radial at the bottom or eccentric at the rear
  • Viewing window: Instrument flat glass, safety glass or polycarbonate
  • Mounting: without, mounting rim, triangular front ring with bracket
  • Optional: oil and grease-free, silicone-free, special dials

Comparison with other manometers

  • Compared to type 111.10/111.12: Higher accuracy (class 1.0 instead of 2.5), more robust design, stainless steel housing.
  • Compared to type 213.53: No housing filling, therefore less suitable for strong vibrations.
  • Compared to type 232.50: Similar robustness, but type 232.50 for aggressive media (fully stainless steel).

Areas of application

  • Mechanical and plant engineering
  • Building technology
  • Refrigeration technology
  • Process monitoring in industrial plants

Manometers in plant engineering and valve modification

Manometers are indispensable components for pressure monitoring in complex systems. They are used in numerous applications – from differential pressure measurements on basket strainers for filter condition monitoring, pipe production and pressure testing to integration in SKID systems for chemical, energy and water technology. Manometers and the right accessories such as globe valves, siphons and pressure surge reducers are also crucial for operational safety and compliance with standards in valve construction and modifications.

Typical areas of application:

  • Basket strainer: Differential pressure indicator for early detection of soiling
  • Pipe production: Pressure testing and monitoring during assembly
  • SKID systems: Integration in valve stations and dosing systems for process control
  • Valve construction: retrofitting manometers and accessories for modifications
